Before Processing of Admission

The Admitting and Information Section of St. Paul Hospital Cavite is your first stop welcoming and accommodating you and your family. A place where you can always turn for high-quality service and care with the warmth and kindness of the dedicated staff.

Before admission, patients will be requested to present the following:

1. Attending Physician’s Admitting Order

A specific requirement to facilitate admission. In the absence of the AP’s order or a doctor known to them, a walk-in patient may be admitted through the Emergency Room.

2. Letter of Authorization (LOA)

For HMO, a letter of authorization from the Company or from the Doctor’s retainer. Patients without LOA will be automatically considered as private-paying and an initial deposit will be required. Those who submit the LOA during their confinement may be re-classified from private to HMO accounts.

Patient Data Form

Information requested will be written in the Patient Data Form and will be used for data gathering.

All patients are given an ID band to be worn around the wrist for the duration of their stay at the hospital.

Emergency Admissions

Patients are referred to the Emergency Room (ER) if they do not have an admission order sheet from their attending physician. In such cases, the Resident on duty will ask the patient for the name of his/her physician. The Resident on duty may only assign an attending physician to the patient's case if he or she does not have a personal physician of choice.

Room Reservations

We do not accept reservations. We follow the first-come, first-serve Policy.

We prioritize emergency patients, then company patients and patients temporarily admitted to rooms other than the desired accommodation.
